Free Postpartum Mental Health Resources That Aren't Therapy
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Therapy is the right answer for a lot of postpartum struggles. It's also expensive, has a waitlist, and asks you to say the hardest things out loud to a stranger before you've slept. Sometimes what you need at 3am isn't a diagnosis. It's something free, right now, that meets you where you are.
This is an honest list of what exists. Some of these are apps, some are hotlines, some are communities. None of them replace clinical care if things are severe (see the crisis section first, always). But every one of them is a real, free door back to yourself when you can't reach anything else.
if this felt familiar, you're not the only one. Mave was built for mothers navigating the emotional side of postpartum, anxiety, loneliness, overwhelm, identity shifts, and the thoughts that often feel impossible to say out loud.
